I fixed my 29 gallon so that it may be fit for pbass. I plan to grow them out in this 29 quarentine till about 6" then they will be going into the 125. Then to my 6' round stock tank.

Hope this tank is good enough for baby pbass so critic it please!

29 gallon AGA
1x 300w heater @ 87°
1x 150w heater @ 89°
1x Hydor koralia 2 powerhead for flow
1x Aquaclear 110 filter running just ceramic rings and sponge
2x air pump running to a 12" bubble strip

I read they need lots of oxygen and high temperatures since they are so suseptable to ick...not sure if there is to much flow going on in the tank or not....critic please!

should be fine...make sure they can't get sucked up into the powerhead (has happened to me before) and I would keep the lower wattage heater at a lower temp instead of the way you have it. Not sure if that tank will last that long for them, though

Dont plan on it lasting. Just going to keep them in there till about 6" then into the 125...or straight to the 350 gallon stock tank if tractor supple gets them in before they reach 6"!

How do I prevent them from getting sucked into the powerhead? Should I just take it out..? I never had any trouble with my clownfish getting sucked into it when I had saltwater...and they would swim practically on it. Its not like a regular powerhead there is no one point of suction. It gathers water from 360° around it.

I meant IDK if they'll last the 6 months in there, but maybe. You'll probably be okay with that type of powerhead, I've just had trouble w/ the AquaClear type ones....lost an orino that way :(
