have you found new accomodations for your cons? I'm thinking of trying a small hard plastic kiddie pool for some golds.

I loved my kiddie pool while it lasted and so did the fish...the dimensions give them more swimming room compared to a similar volume tank...I would have got a hard one, but the smallest size is just too big. The rooms not quite 10ft across. Gonna try build a tank/pond as my misus thinks the spare room should be able to accomodate friends...who needs friends when you can have fish though hey!

Get another kiddie pool! There are some great priced ones on ebay and the nextag site.

Once bitten twice shy! lol... Going more hardcore this time and making a wood framed pond like midnight posted. Want the last foot or so to be glass though to give some side viewing. Then enclose the rest with cheapo greenhouse panes. This should solve the humidity probs and I can keep poison arrow frogs wooohaaa!
