kiddie pool

Put a liner in it to toughen the inside, but I wouldn't trust that design of pool, it jiggles and bows out to much for active and large fish.

I wouldn't trust it.. Try looking at fleet farm for livestock troughs. they are alot more solid and very reasonablly priced. I've gotten 40Galons for 20$ and those are def cat safe. most of the 100gal + run about 100$ but you won't need to worry about popping a liner/pool side.

I just be worried something would break a hole in the side of the pool personally. Wouldn't want to get kicked out when it leaks. lol

ive never tried a kiddie pool as a fish tank. and the idea sounds cool but there a couple things id worry about.

1) there is no real structural strength to them. something falls on an edge and the structure gives way and the water all kinda drains out. just a thought to consider.

2) i think an arowana is a terrible choice. from what ive read if heard alot of stories of them jumping. Im imaging there isnt going to be a cover over the tank. so you either need to think of a way to cover the tank or id avoid aro's or any other fish that are known to jump
