sorry your fish died, but I guess youll learn your lesson and buy a quarantine tank. Also, I wouldnt advise putting your large fish into a ten gallon tank for time out. You are lucky you didnt lose it as well.

I did that to my Red Jewel as it got beaten up so badly by both of my GT's, I took it out cuz of it's wounds and he's now sitting in my feeder rubber maid bucket barely surviving. I would put it out of it's misery.
