I have 6 rbp's in one tank and I have a tropical community tank.

Well my friend got me a gift of 2 pearl gouramis...needless to say she isn't fish person and apparently neither was the person at wal-mart and in the end I got 2 males.

The larger pearl has been doing nothing but attacking the smaller one and going after my african butterfly...my butterfly is my baby...I can't have this happen.

I tried to find a new home for the larger pearl and no such luck...so in he went to my p's tank...and after 3 days it is still alive!

In fact my rbp's follow him around like puppy dogs they don't nip or charge at him at all!...has anyone ever heard of this?

you sure you got piranha not pacu?? lol, j/k once your rbps get big enough things will change.

haha well the pearl is actually a little bigger than my p's right now. the vid is just uploading to you tube right now...and you have seen my p's lol you have posted on my other thread about them haha

Iv'e got a buddy with a few rbp's in a 30 gallon tank, he has a few algea eaters and a cory cat or two in there. He recently added two large tin foil barbs. Funny enough the reds also follow those damn barbs around like lost puppy ogs. Haha, the rbp's actually started eating flakes and pellets after they saw the tin's eating it. My budduy provides bloodworms and minnows as well, the tin's don't touch the minnows. But they have been together for a few weeks now and no loses from either side.

nice setup you have there (just saw the full tank shot video) what size is the tank?
you may need to upgrade. and we have a FEMALE piranha keeper here~!!
