I had something somewhat similar to this. One time I gave my Ps some feeders and they ate all of them but one. Turns out its because the one would chase them around the tank and nip at their tails. The Ps just ignored it for the most part and every now and then the feeder would chase them all over the tank. This went on for about two weeks before the reds finally decided enough was enough.
