The Mods need to do something about the People that hang around the B/S and never buy or sell anything. Just ask for pictures or shipping quotes, size, eating ect.

I'll agree it can be a problem but from what I've seen you can tell who does this regularly and theres only a couple people who do right?

this apply to all kind of markets... even on ebay... nothing is sure shot.... there are many selling strategy you can go... such as have a link of what you are selling on your sig and go to the section where the "same" people hang out... im sure. you can sell it.. it does takes time... after all you have NOTHING to lose... no fee no nothing... just abit of effort :)

I can agree and understand both sides and we must always remember that posting here is FREE and MFK doesn't charge anything to sell here even for commercial sellers. So I think the annoying posts are tolerable. I just have my old threads closed and make new ones. I have posted sale threads on other sites but I just don't get the same kind of traffic or views on my threads as I get here on MFK. So the trolls are a little nuisance that I can deal with.

If your still unhappy then go sell it on Aquabid then.

Simple supply and demand.

I don't want Blue arrows, i guess that means Hitler runs MFK huh ?

I agree that there are several members who tend to use the B?S as just another discussion forum..., but,
I, for one like to see pictures of the fish I wish to buy (not just a generic species pic either, the actual fish). I also like to know if the fish is wild caught or captive bred, if it has been dewormed if wild, is it eating, and such info as in the cost and type of shipping, and minimum purchase if any. When these things are not presented I either give up on the fish or ask the questions, because without that info I will not make the purchase.
I also prefer that the offering includes the genus/species name if it is not one of the more common fish.

But at least your inquiring with the intent of a purchase. Many people want the info and never wish to buy anything. If a vendor brings in 6 thin bar dats or 6 jardini. Do you expect a picture of each fish? I hope not. Whats the difference if a fish is wild or breed. 90% of the fish are breed these days wheather you know it or not
