For those of you who know me on here, you know I love Parrots Cichlids and I that I have been searching for true Kirin Parrots for ever. Last week for some reason a local store had one in and I snatched it up, and told them to order more! Yesterday they got 3 in (head exploded!) and they were true Kirins as well. 2 were extremely stressed and 1 was normal, so I grabbed that one and will pick the others up on Tuesday :D So happy right now, heres hoping I find a fertile male.

For those of you who don't know what Kirin Parrots are, they are a flowerhorn x blood parrot cross where the fish keeps the blood parrot shape but takes on the color and body markings of the flowerhorn.

So jealous about your kirin parrots. All parrots around here are Walmart parrots and pale white blood parrots at other LFS.
 
Too bad about the ich I'm sure you won't have any problems getting rid of it. I'm getting some kirin from pet zone SD as soon as I've got the tank space. I too have been wanting some forever. I'm jealous of your bp community. I really want a 125 filled with bp and kirin.
 
Yeah there was a couple nice ones in the batch. Personally not a fan of the normal mouth and non-notched back, makes them look more like SB Flowerhorn. But I have seen them have some really nice ones in the past, each batch they get in is different.

This is the one I got from them which didn't have the mouth or the notched back:

Came with ich and some internal parasites so he didn't make it.
