  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Get some more JAP Koi. Good looking ones.

Cat should work, just keep it fed to avoid problems ( feed it in a different area if possible).

And by law I beleive you have to show us pix, since you brought it up and we provided answers!!! :D ifso facto blah blah blah.

My uncle keeps pacus, channel cats, id sharks, mozambique tilapia (orange variant), tinfoil barbs and oscars all with his koi.

They stay outside all summer long, and then he brings in his favorite koi and all the tropicals inside for the winter. He has them in a 800gl pond and he doesn't heat it. It is in the basement and stays around 72*F and all the fish do fine.

if indoor, try Fantain goldfish, Comets, Shubunkin, any any type of Oranda. pretty much any type of goldfish as long as they aren't small enough to fit in each others mouth. plecos will help keep it clean

Leave out the channel cats and get some nice looking bullheads. That way you can do even better looking longear, pumpkinseed, and dollar sunfish :) . That is the only way to go.

My old albino channel is sharing a pond with a bunch of koi. He rules pond but doesnt cause problems. He's about 2 ft now.
