Cant believe how many diffrnt varieties. I still miss the old silvers with no markings.

looking forward to updates in the future!

nah fair play, i don't mean it in a negative way.... id do the same..... yes u got me thinking about the new/old fin coloration theory again.... if my silver keeps his ridiculous red coloring past the 15" I'm going to look for a equal size silver with old school coloration too....

Ya... When I saw them and I start noticing different finnage colouration and body sheen too. Then it make think about how are they so different when all are silvers as well...?

Check out the video. I love J-rock!!:headbang2:D

also had a thought about that koji, do you think a jar com, with high water flow, and quite cramped/overstocked conditions, lots of bubbles may work? i cant remember the exact size/stocking levels of your jar com?

Yes... Usually those silvers will grow up becoming extremely silverish shiny:WHOA: But it's almost not possible to source them here.. When they're young and small, they look very dull and not attractive though.

true, with the sacks still on them, you can see there colors and patterns, back in the day there were dull when young. :(

How I miss them.

Did you keep any of the jars or did you just ditch them.

I tried all sort of possible way I can think of but they just doesnt agree with each one another. When they're small, I cant use the high flow rate on them for it'll definately stress them all up. And neither the overstocking method will be agreeable, so the condition is not ideal for fast growing fishes like aros....

But I'm thinking of starting with 10-12 inches jar for new project. At least it's one size where they can endure some fights and some tank settings.
