Korean Perch Update 04-06-2006

Just have the intake for your canister filter close to the bottom. I kinda ghetto rigged one myself using the old intake tube.

I'm so very proud of my self today. I saw a 6" thinbar dat going for about 20US AND a korean perch that was going for 4US and i didn't get either. No space.. I did redecorate my snakehead tank tho.

the one you saw was most likely siniperca chuatsi, yes, pretty cheap in hong kong, we have them for dinner at times

Korea perch is siniperca scherzeri, rarely if ever exported out of korea, which it is endemic to, and banned from export.

There are a few similar species from China, which you might see in hong kong from time to time, like siniperca whitei, and others you'll never see!

i rather not stuff my fish..... since in the wild they dont get these "buffet" style of feeding...

I guess that wasn't a Korean Perch coz if i saw it for 4 bux then it most definitely isn't it..


fugupuff. I heard on the radio over xmas that in about 2 years the whole of tung choi street fish shops are gonna close down. I am praying it doesn't...
