I really do not expect many people to know where the Balkans are let alone Kosovo... Comes from experience...I'm pretty sure only one in ten these days can point to a map and find Serbia.

It is not intended to offend to "MFK people" it is just a disturbing reality of just how geographically challenged people seem to be these days. NIMBY and it does not exist...

During the 78 day NATO Warcrime against Serbia it was amusing to me how many people I talked to thought it was South America or Asia being Bombed.

I'm actually quite impressed that this has been one of the most Civil conversations on this issue I have been involved in..Most by now have just ended up in the sewer of insults and flames.

Except for totally unrelated issues this has remained very polite with each able to discuss this rationally. Impressive to say the least it has got this far without disintegrating..

I hope it can continue like this in a positive and open direction with all sides able to speak openly and freely about this issue and subject.

can't this aspect of this thread just be dropped as was proposed earlier on? i think it was well-clarified that the original comments were not made specifically to MFK, but likely using the membership as a representative of the general public. i think the original comments could be applied to any general population of any internet forum...i'll admit i have been quite ignorant of the whole situation for years now, but only recently started following it peripherally due to presence in headlines.

getting back on topic would make things easier for everyone --

well.. i normally would ignore the cheap shots from richard.. but recently he got my attention. i found a growing trend that he would take these cheap shots every chance he gets.

How would you feel if i peed on you then later clarified that was not intended for you?

i appreciate polypterus's no bs, straight to the point thinking, but you are starting to be cruel. You are an expert on many areas compared to most members here (firearms, eastern europe, primitive fish), but it doesn't give you an excuse to be so condecending toward the rest of us.
