Because you aren't getting the point. They would have to be 4 years old or more to be wild. That's what's with the dumb question. I know they could be caught and exported small but since they can longer be exported(legally) then they would have to be at least 4 years old, hence they should be large. Besides if someone did get their hands on fish brought in the country illegaly they would not be very smart to sell them as wild caught anyway.

are you saying there are no babies in the wild?

Ok so people bring them in illegally. Why would you buy them and then post them for sale? It would be the same as me saying on MFK I have an Asian Arowana for sale. I would be throwing a sign up saying hey come arrest me. It would be sheer stupidity.

It is not illegal to sell WC L-46.. Sorry for derailing, just covering up for Ted.

Ban me, penalize me. I have a right to know what i'm buying and so does the rest of MFK and I do believe the sale of illegally imported fish on here is or should also be a violation.

Then take it to the pm and stop pissing all over this thread. So your breaking a forum rule 1st by derailing someones thread to point out. That he got these fish out of a country that is restricted. So what your saying is" lets me do evil that good may come.

what if Ted got them from somewhere other than a Brazil exporter than it wouldn't be illegal. I really don't understand why the fish has to be 4yrs to be wild caught? as long as they were born in the wild they are wild caught no matter what their age.

All I originally wanted was proof and everyone got bent out of shape. Let Ted explain and everyone else keep their opinions to themselves. He is the only one I need a response from plain and simple.

Bottom line is, if they are wild caught then they are illegally obtained fish. PERIOD! And, the sale of said fish would be a direct contributing factor in their future extinction from the wild. So congrats!

That is all I have to say on this thread!

man people are so against braking the law a little bit(im not saying this is whats happening here) sweet jesus, good luck on the sale of these beauties, they are zebras and thats all that matters i dont care how you got em.
