So I was moving some fish around and found my L184 guarding some eggs kind of deep in a piece of drift wood. If I want to try to remove the eggs for best chance of survival anyone have any tips on how to go about this?
Move the whole wood with the eggs, and parent.
Mike, PM codonmyrod. He breeds a bunch of small plecos, tell him you are a friend of mine.
A turkey baster works great. But I would use a breed box to keep the eggs in.
thanks for the info. I am going to move them when they are wrigglers. I will have to pick up a tumbler for the future.Don't touch the eggs!!!!!!
The male needs to fan them to hatch or the eggs will die.
I got this info from my friend who breeds L-184
