I know they're basically L114.
As I posted on his thread there are ways to differentiate other than fin color.
L600 are supposed to be more stockier and have a darker colouration.
With what I stated about his I find that his might just be a male and mine is a female, I came up with that assumption from reading off of this webpage http://www.mchportal.com/aquatic-li.../368-pseudacanthicus-leopardus-l114-l600.html
I am not holding any of this to be true...
I just know that my LFS here has some good ties with South American vendors and I'm sure they know this was collected from the Rupununi river (Guyana); upper Rio Bianco (Brazil) as they are stated to be collected from. The specimens there are supposed to hold the characteristics of the "L600" over what characteristics defines others as being a L114.
If you don't want to recognize it as being a L600 more power to you, I will recognize it because it makes me feel better;)

You can call it L600 if you wish to. I dont mind.

What I do mind is when you state that the L600 has a diffrent bodyshape ect, as it simply isent true.

The L600 is just a very nice looking L114.

I'm just going by what I researched on that webpage. I can't really find much info on them. To be honest, I really never liked the look of them(don't tell anyone I said that). As I stated I am not holding anything I actually say about them to be true, it's just stuff that I read off of the web. If you go to that site and read the Identification part it states what I stated.

Here are some pics of L600's and L114's that I got off of planet catfish.
Here is the page I grabbed them from http://www.planetcatfish.com/shanes...=384&title=Breeding+Pseudacanthicus+leopardus
The L114's keep their spots on the head and it is very easy to distinguish the 2 apart from one another.
First 3 are L600 the 2nd from the bottom is a L600 on the wood and L114 on the substrate and glass, and the last one is a L114 female.
