From what I gather Mr. Aquatics was caught trying to scam again and when he was on the phone he got his back up...

being hostile and defensive is a sign of guilt, instead of being calm and collective and trying to work something out like a normal person would be. So maybe he knew there was something wrong with the Payara like that other persons fish with the infection...

seems kinda weird to me, also I find it fun how jlnguyen74 comes to Aquatics Defence rather then Aquatics him self... smells fishy but this is a fish keeping forum (the reason for the fishy smell its a joke :D).

Yes he was. Good choice of words cause I could use others:D
Its kind of like all your anger can only come out of your fingers and you can only touch the keys (sucks:wall:).

In Speaking with a Vendor (that called me), he has relieved me a little:headbang2
I'm just going to try to drop it (although I keep getting this TOUCH feeling:angryfire)
but this is based on his future responce

That could be (but I must say Jlnguyen was just speaking from a 3rd party. Dont think he would take sides).

its not your place to tell me what the F i can and cannot say in a thread, really:naughty:

if he does thats great but this thread is not HELPING!!! your burning your bridges by posting..So I once again wouldn't hold your breath on the Compensation back....Your not making him look bad, the deal is done!!!!! NEXT

I'm not being irrate about anything here. I'm stating hard facts that are unbiased as of yet.

What L decides to do about it from here is going to be a judgement of his character as a person.

I'm trying to come up with a civil and fair way of making our situation good, I could do a lot worse then ask for a measly 20 bucks for some meds to fix these fish.

The transactions were done in person, California law states that any pets sold within the state of California must live for 14 days unless something different is specifically agreed upon by both parties. So West1 could just as easily call up his bank and dispute the charges.

I have plenty of private messages where L gives me all kinds of information that's obviously blatant lies on the health of these fish.

I could care less if these bridges get burned. I'm getting my money either way, I'm just trying to do it without getting my bank involved, and trying to give L a chance to show that he can be a stand up guy.

Ball's in his court, you don't need to get pissy about somthing that's really none of your business in the first place, though.

Let this be a lesson to some people using PayPal, always use your credit card, regardless of what PayPal tries to tell you. They can't do squat to protect your funds legally, your credit card company can do plenty to help you out.

I'm posting this because, if L is selling fish he knows are sick, and intentionally dodging customers. He needs to have his business put to a stop on here. Especially if he's flat out lying about it to make a buck. I'd say having folks know about this and saving them the PITA I'm going to go through getting these fish healthy over the next month is a fair trade off for the price of the meds, if L decides he doesn't want to pay me.

I haven't known L Aquatic, or met him, so whatever I post is from my point of view. It's not weird to you. You're just weird! You have no clue, you don't know a person, yet bashing him and call him a scammer. How could he scam someone when the transaction was done face-to-face, and fish was hand-to-hand delivery? If the fish didn't meet what was described when it's delivered, turns the deal off. Once you accept the fish, deal is done.

My dad's a lawyer, so this information is pretty easy to come by for me.

This is about the princple, not the money. Integrity should be encouraged in everyone.
