Yes/No
Used 100% 0f my 150gl and filled the rest uo (like a big H20 change)

I have 3 Tats, that were in the hole movement with the tank/water... and they are perfect. Eating and everything.
I called him about 10min after I got home and told him there was a prob, he said it is just sadated and just quarentine him realy good. I quarentined him since I got him and never stopped till right now when I woke up. Heater and thermometer say it was warm enough and I tested my water and its all good.
I seen this once I got home and he lead me to believe it was not the fish...
I have no prob with taking a loss if I did something F-ed up (obviously, dah!), but I did not and he aint answering his phone since the time I called him and he said ...
Makes you wonder if he noticed it before???

Wow, sorry for your lost. I also got a wide bars from him. I picked it up around 2pm-2:30pm. I hope everything work out between you guy.

Wow I am glad I dont buy fish online or atleast from private sellers online.... and who sedates fish for shipping? Might I ask how he was sedated?

refund his money bro..answer ur phone..Shibby Customer Service

I am not asking for my money back, but maybe another fish? half the price or full refund... (JMO I would take another fish)

Something. I did get the fish off his hands and noticed it was not 100%. Once I was told it was not the fish is when it turns... I could of done other things for him had I known it was his health. I did nothing but what was told to me...

I am not knocking him for his quality of products. I probly got the bad end of the stick.
I would buy from him again... based on how he handles this (I think that is fair so far).

A lot of people sedate fish for shipping such as the good vendors here and elsewhere.....When they do that, sometimes, the fish will seem dead in the bag but are still breathing..

If you buy fish online you will get that they do sedate fish.

He said with some type of pills (if I remember right)?? I was told to keep the fish calm (I am assuming since he has teeth and you dont want one to puncture the bag, so I say good call on the sedating...)

My prob is that means it was either over sedated or bad fish. I could of taken him back to him and discussed something else (other fish maybe, dont know cause it did not happ) but was lead elsewhere.

Oh yeah, I'm for it. especially with teeth:D
I did not know people did this till now:ROFL:

Bummer dude, my male uaru was pretty heavily sedated when I got him home, took him about 2 hours to stop listing around at the bottom of the tank but he's doing great now.

Pretty easy for some one to say "oh well, part of the hobby" when it's not their money and time involved, hope you guys come to an understanding.

L seems like a standup guy, I wouldn't worry too much about things until you get a chance to talk with him, y'know?

Good luck.

L, thanks for the fish, they're doing great now. I was a bit worried when I first got them home but they've both come around. HOpe your drive home goes alright.

I am very happy to hear your fish is doing great. In addition, I hope everyones fish is doing great. Hopefuly I just got a bad one (or what ever it may be) and I'm just trying to be patient and wait. Earlier I was very upset, but I'm good now:D

Just need some type of conclusion to this (know what I mean...). And would like it if he answered his phone:ROFL:

By the way for those who say it might had been my water... I just bought a AngelFish from Petco and threw him in the tank (actually 60gl Sump. Would probly get eaten by my fish). He was kind of shocked but started moving after a couple min. So far so good, but we will see. I would assume an Angel fish would be more of a fish to worry about than a large Tat (also knowing the most Petco's dont take the best of care with their fish compared to a hobbiest that does and turns to sell them. I would put my $$$ on a MFKers fish before Petco.)
Will update on this little experament:D
