If it's not much of a trouble, may you call your dad and ask him what's defined as "PET" in the state of California? I'm not getting cute here. Just want to make sure everyone understand what they have on the table before thing is getting worse

I haven't known L Aquatic, or met him, so whatever I post is from my point of view. It's not weird to you. You're just weird! You have no clue, you don't know a person, yet bashing him and call him a scammer. How could he scam someone when the transaction was done face-to-face, and fish was hand-to-hand delivery? If the fish didn't meet what was described when it's delivered, turns the deal off. Once you accept the fish, deal is done.

Look guys, Ly hasn't even gotten back to me yet with what he plans on doing and this is escalating to a point where people are going to misinterpret what could happen and what will happen.

I've found some bad reports about Ly in reading through other forums, but he always seems to make things right by the end of the dispute.

Let's just go ahead and drop this for now. I know he's a busy college student, as I'm a full time college student I can understand where he's coming from in wanting to be left the hell alone on a weekend.

I'll keep everyone posted with what he decides to do about the matter, until then we need to leave this alone.

I just woke u-p from a nap to read this. Still half asleep. I drove more than 18 hours yesterday, So when I got home I crashed. West1 is a dick and can't acclimate his fish to save his own life. Jason(Dirtyblacksock) knew what he was doing. And Jason will get compensation. I'm a fair person, but I don't answer to profanity or being hung up on. When West1 received the fish it was well and calm. I didn;'t really sedate just lots of oxygen and some bag buddie pills. Those pills keep the fish calm enough to not trash, gbut you need to acclimate properly like how Jason did. Will call you later tonight to talk about it Jason. Thanks. I'm going to get some dinner. Haven't eaten all day.

Sounds good Ly, sorry if some of this got implied as being more hostile than it is. Between boredom and frustration I sort of got into details about what can and can't be done a bit too thoroughly.

I understand the worry of punctured bags which is why I know a lot of big fish vendors ship fish in just foam boxes taped up and in a cardboard box. Then you dont have to worry about burst bags... it is a little more costly but it is worth it in the end and no need to sedate fragile fish.

Also if this is a local pick-up deal, what is with the sedation in the first place? just put the bag with the fish in an opaic shopping bag...

I think this should have been handled in better judgment. You knew L Aquatics had a long drive back up North. You should have given him time since he did picked up a boat load of fish while he was down here.. So I think he had other things to worry about at the moment. I've never met L aquatics so there is no need for me to defend him, but just saying that stuff like this should have been handled differently instead of immediately posting it and having people post stuff that they shouldn't be posting and possibly burning bridges you/they might want to cross later (not particularly with L aquatics, but other members on this board).

What ever happened to this being a community where we learn, and share knowledge that we all enjoy. Lately there has been drama all over the forum, and its just sad to read about people bashing/flaming this or that person for no reason. Just my two cents.
