it's hard to tell at that size, When I said not an oscell I was referring to the one with 5 bars. It looks like a stressed out mono, but at first glance I thought it resembled an azul. I'd pick up the 5 bar and grow it out, 40$ isn't bad considering.
Well went in to buy the 5 bar, but not today.
Doesn't look like ich. possibly fin rot, possibly something worse. Either way, I'm not taking the risk.
There's also a pair of severums in there that have similar symptoms.

well called them today and they said they're all healed up. going to swing by after work and take a look myself. hopefully i'll have a positive update in the next 8 hours. *fingers crossed*
Well curiosity got the best of me. Turns out he's even odder than I originally thought. 4 stripes on one side and 5 on the other... One of the other bass had 4 and 4, and the last one had 3 and 3. At $40 a pop though I could only afford one, so I went with the original.

I floated him for a bit and am now drip acclimating him.

Well he's pretty shy, but that's expected. He already ate a baby Molly which I had in the tank previously. Hopefully converting him should be easy
Well he's still hiding a lot, but at least he's eating. Only got him on blood worms for now. Once he starts coming out more, I'll try pellets. He's only eating off the substrate atm.
