CITES permits mean nothing. They're not permits. They're CITES certificates that describe which appendix a particular species falls into. Besides, it's not CITES that is the problem with obtaining Scleropages formosus in the US. It's the US Federal Lacey Act and the Endangered Species Act that has caused the overall ban of this species in the US.
