Even if you think her music is crap or if she isn't talented she's making a lot of cash. All I am saying is she's smart, and it's obviously working. If i could wear a meat suit and accomplish what she has, I would be laughing at people who hated me.

But is she smart, or are her manager/agents smart? Because let's be honest, a lot of musicians don't exactly make their own decisions. She's the one who chooses to dress weird, but her agents/managers/etc. are the ones who decide how to market her to the public and what to let her do/say. Not that it really makes a difference, just saying.

I think it's pretty sad how people are so obsessed with fame and wealth that they are willing to humiliate themselves in front of millions of people to obtain it (or in Lady Gaga's case, humiliate themselves and not even acknowledge that they look stupid, which just makes them look even more stupid). I don't consider that intelligence, I consider it pathetic desperation.

In her mind she is doing what she likes. So basically she has the perfect life, she can be weird/lesbian/amazing/loved/hated/rich/famous and still be okay with herself. I'd say she's far more ahead than most of society.
