She was escorted by military men and women that were dispelled from the army for talking about their "dating preference" and violating the army's don't ask, don't tell policy....the message was if we don't fight for our rights, we're just a piece of meat or something along that line. Honestly, I think she's pretty much useless in society. Her music requires very little talent (don't say it does, we all know it's 90% computer-generated), and if she wanted to make a political statement there are far better ways, 99% of people probably don't even know that her dress had anything to do politics. And her clothes previous to this weren't worn for any other reason than to look weird, there's a fine line between eccentric and somewhat insane, and she's crossed it. Also, I honestly don't respect any musicians who use cheap gimmicks and the shock factor to make money, if she were really talented she wouldn't need those things.
