yrs past that used to be a big coho for lake MI but know days thats a small one, 15 punders have become average for my area.
 
My coho is adverage here, although my brother caught one 11 lbs, and the boat owner caught one that was 16 lbs on different trips.

This is Northwest Indiana, out of Burns Harbor, IN
 
That Drum is huge. I don't know that much about deep water native fish. Is that in the carp family?.

drum are not deep water native fish no its not very closly related to a carp as carp are not native.

I was useing a silver J-plug, we were trolling for salmon.

drum of lake MI eat two main things crawfish and other fish, thus they are not the trash eaters everyone says they are.
