Probably not, since you dont know how long it spent in captivity and what chemicals/meds were used in it's tank. However, if a feral population is established, I don't see why you wouldn't eat one. People eat the introduced pbass caught in florida

you both would be right, damn haha im stupider then i think these days
how ya been druu havent seen you on the forums in a whiles
been fishing lately?

I moved out of Florida almost two years ago. I lived in Fort Lauderdale for nearly 30 years and have fished and caught a few of the clown knives on Lake Osborne. They are a blast to catch with live shiners or the equivalent look in artificial baits. They have been there for some time and like the Peacock Bass and some of the other exotics they wont travel much further north since they cant tolerate the cold.

Time for another Florida fishing trip.

hey voss, how have you been? I haven't been on much since I didn't get online much in nyc (was there for a little over a month) i'll be on more in louisville. did a lot of fishing up in ny- bluefish season :-)

I have eaten PB and very good eating . I caught one from a canal last week and gave it to my sister and Brother in law told them it was caught from the big lake.
I wanted to see if eating canal fish was dangerous they loved it my brother in law said it was one of the best bass he has eaten. Go figure

how is that good, i would kill the stupid idiots who released tropicals into the states, look at what has happened with snake heads,

Exotics are Miami why would anyone fish here might as well fish further up North where things are cheaper its the exotics the touch od Amazon-Asia-Africa,etc which make the fishing here and canal sight seeing.

Sure something like a snakehead we wouldnt catch and put back because it would kill the other exotics but Oscars-Jags-Dempseys countless others we welcome catch and release yes its not PC but nothing here is and all kidding aside people come here to fish non natives .
