just another fish added to the population, there is supose to be a lake in miami where arowanas are found...

im decent, fishing in the sound (relatively around the fairlfield area to darien) has been crap, a ton of bait, gill netted avout 100 bunker in one shot today and caught zilch livelining, so i got bored and started throwing bug crappies jigs and nailing flounder, sea robin and pogy, fishing wont be good again until late august

No hits at all? You're doing blood trails right? If you're on your boat, you could chop up a few bunker and hang a chum bag
 
Shiners are the way to go. As for confirmed reproducing populations Throughout SOuth FL, ( by local fisherman...myself included)...Pacu, Clown Knife's, Severum, Adonis Pleco's 2'+, Common Pleco's, Bristlenose Pleco's, Clarius Cats, Midas Cichlids, Jaguar Cichlids, Uro's, Jewel Cichlids, Convicts, RBP's, Cobra SH, Oscars, Tropical gar, African cichlids, Giant SH, Blue Acara. Ive also run into a number of LARGE TSN's...not sure if they are breeding though..

tsn are breeding i've heared. also theres very few places for the giant snakeheads. and when u say tropical gar, do u mean the actual tropical gar?

to add another note, firemouths and a purple type of cichlid are in the waters there. idk what the purple one was though. looked like a midas.
rbp's is that pirahanas or pacu
 
i gotta take a trip down to FL to catch me some new fish for my tank lol but that would be cool just catching a pbass or if i found that lake with aros now that would b awsome to catch a monster aro
