hi deeda, I honestly don't recall, but once I get start setting up I will post more info. I bough this tank 2 years ago for $500 from this dud that was moving out of California and need it money bad. He told it was 500gl but I have a feeling it is 350gl. I really didn't care if it is 350 or 500gl. For $500? who cares :)

Both are very good vendors.
thx for advice, after going over the list of cichlids Dave has?? wow!! this is pretty much what i love to have. this is the list i picked. ""Callochromis melanostigm Chalinochromis sp. Cyathopharynx foai Cyathopharynx foai “Sibwesa Cyprichromis leptosom “Chituta Blue Neon”Cyprichromis leptosoma“Kerenge Island” Cyprichromis leptosoma “Speckle Back” “Moba Enantiopus sp.Enantiopus melanogenys. Eretmodus cyanostictus “Kipili”. Julidochromis dickfeldi. Julidochromis marlieri. Lepidiolamprologus attenuatus “Yellow”. Ophthalmotilapia boops “Mpimbwe”.Tropheus moorii “Orange Flame “Bemba”. Variabilichromis moorii. Xenotilapia flavipinnis and going look for zaire blue frontosa next

You probably only want one species for some of them like the foai or frontosa. This is assuming the tank is six feet long...but the dimensions would help.

If you want more variety you could do julidochromis and leptosoma (one species of each) and maybe another rock dweller or two.
