That's my impression as well. I've seen datnoids of cartoonishly different sizes housed together successfully, such as 3 inchers w/ 11 inchers, etc. However, the larger dats will generally outcompete the smaller dats when it comes to food. You'll find that smaller dats grow more quickly when the larger dats are removed from the tank.sqratch;559144; said:i've always heard that they dont mess with each other. Must be those spiny fins.
I wouldn't risk that one. With those nasty spines clown loaches have, you may end up w/ a dead loach and dead dats.redtailfool;559265; said:I am derailing (sorry !) but how would a 4-5 inch clown loach fare with 10-12 inch datnoids?
would they get eaten ?
