Just out of curiosity, those of you who have really large glass tanks say 350g and up how much of a pain was it to get on the stand just due to shear weight?

I don't own any bigger than 220, but I've moved a couple. Get glass moving suction cups for one thing.

I helped move a 375 glass tank. It took a bunch of people and suction cups. Man was that thing heavy. The key is how many people you have helping.

When I bought the 220 (wish I still had that tank) I had to take it out of a basement which staircase steep, short, and wasn't much wider than the tank itself. That was the least fun, on the stand was the easy part. Also like everyone said, depends on how many people you have.

Pharaoh is right with the right amount of people moving them is manageable.

I need to move my 168 gallon glass tank from my basement to upstairs. It was a pain with 3 people to bring it down but I think it's going to be a really hard time even with 4 people to bring it up. Some of you said that they used sunction cups. Where can I find them to buy or rent and how do they work. I'm worried about the suction cups might pop off. The Doctor.

I have done 270 gallon 15mm glass all round with 4.5 (.5 for the female:)) people and the use of trolley getting through a door moving out of a apartment on the 3rd floor and it was a nightmare. To get on the stand took 4 of us.

350 hell! My 150 nearly killed me lol! I can't imagine moving a 350 :)
