the ray was sold as is, the ray i shipped out paired with the male i split this up for you after you PM'd me for 3 weeks, i didnt have to. the price was $170?? and your complaining?? the ray i measure across in the rubbermaids i have here if your not happy sry move on, funny how people ignore members that were in my shop saw the ray i sent out and back me up, everyone overlooks that lol...the ray was sold as accurate as it was. if your not happy why did you wait this long? why not 2 hours of arrival why not call me why not send it back wtf is there other ways to do things ?? of course? but ***** and complain about an inch or two, highly doubtful, learn to measure your ray, go buy from pedro or someone else and pay 2x as much im done here. sry your not happy. cant please everyone , the deal the service and price for the ray described the ray you got was a great deal on your end, now i wish i would have sold it to the other customer who would have a little more knowledge on measurements and appreciation. the ray is in a pot....9"-10" but your measuring is across diagnol lighting?? good pics bro good work you solved alot.

Want a video of me measuring it now so you can see the measuring tape is level w/ the ray? I sent you emails right after I got the ray! Want me to post them here so everyone else can see? Selling rays for years I am sure you could "eye-ball" their sizes better than this. Now you leave me negative marketplace feedback even when i have proof that you are totally wrong? What a joke!

My 1st ray was bought from Pedro and it was the exact size I paid for!

I highly doubt that ray would be $340.00 from pedro. As far as "I didn't have to", you're right but he's putting money in your pocket so that's why you did. Let's be honest.

As a vendor here you need to work more on how to handle your customers qualms privately. Part of having a business is dealing with customers, and sometimes you have to fix unhappiness and work out a deal so everyones happy. If you have to CYA and tape measure every ray when you take a pic then so be it. But stuff like this does nothing for your business. Make one customer happy and they'll tell 10 people. Make one customer unhappy and they'll tell 100 people.

I think there needs to be some clarification on how sellers measure. Boy howdy, these are good looking rays in the tank though!

To the best of my knowledge rays are always measured by the disc.
Different species have different size tails.
A 10" Leo has a shorter tail, 10" Tiger has much longer tail. Motoros have
longer tails. The can also have damaged/broken tails.

thx guapote for letting me know this, but im not going about this in any way, he contacted me by email we discussed it then he posts so post what you want, i know what i sent out, and what i ordered. so be it may your unhappy, cant please everyone im sorry you feel you got robbed over a few inches , i know what i order and send out, im a one man show hard to slip up on 4-5 inch difference especially since i was holding the only large female i had, which was seen in person by numerous people members and another vendor...i dont know what else to say from here on out bro...

its a stubbed tail first off, but healthy as all hell. i dont measure my rays down the tail, for the reason of that being some tails are longer then others, i measure it from the top across the disc....5 years almost never been one complaint rays are one of my best sellers, since piranha wierd huh??? but im the one at fault on blast....i find it interesting.

...and that's before his 20% off he was doing the week I bought her!

In actuality, it sound's like you still got a pretty good deal. Because as I read Nate's stock & price list a Triple Spot Moto at $300 a pair for 7-8 inchers. now maybe my eyes aren't what they used to be and I don't have my cheater's (reading glasses) on but that fish sure looks like a Triple spot and not a "common" which is advertised for $125.

All of the fish I have gotten from Nate have arrived ALIVE, in good health, professionally packed and exactly as they were advertised and described.

My thinking Mr. Clayton is if the fish is an inch or so smaller than what you envisioned that you relish the fact you will be able to keep it longer and grow it out yourself. Or you can always PM me for my address and I'll gladly take her off your hands

It is a beautiful specimen and should provide you with super quality pups in the near future. Then you can sell them back to Nate as 5 inchers even though they are only 4 inches

I don't care how many people saw and eye-balled her size, pics don't lie, and SMPAGE has seen her in person in my tank next to my 10" male that is obviously larger than her.

So, unless you want to buy my 10" male (lets say he's 17" for MFK/Nate's measuring sake) for... what's a nice 17" motoro go for, $400? I'll sell him to you, just don't put him up to a standard measuring tape or you'll be disappointed!

This is where I'd have to say we must agree to disagree...Nate sells 7 to 8 inch Bullseye Triple Spot Motoros for $150 to $175 ea. The coloration of that fish is far above a "Common Motoro."

I'm not interested in your 17" male, but as I said PM me for an address and I'll galdly give the 'little' lady a good home, heck I'll even pay for the shipping!
