They will work, but my experience w/gills is one dominate fish will keep all other fins nicely chewed. Try one Bluegill w/a sunnie or a bullhead.

A 75 might be possible for maybe 1-4 of them, but a 75 or larger would be better. They do actually get pretty good sized eventually and end up looking somewhat like a dinner plate. There are many smaller sunfish species that will do much better in a 55 for like though like orangespots, greens, pumpkinseeds, etc

recommended miniumum tank size for lmb is a 125 but id say at least 150

the truth is 10 gal tank will do for a small lmb, upto 7" bass i think.... of course the longer the tank is the better. fish will not grow big if u keep it in a small tank, some of them learn to eat pellets/flakes fast, some don't...fish happiness is just humanizing the fish, its just a fish dang it, i never saw a fish cry because his tank is too small. when u put food in the tank and it eats, than its all good...

laws and regulations, depends on the lake, some lakes says min.12", some lakes says 18", and very few says any size, but there are some.... no matter where u get them at, if u have it in your tank already, than its all good. in fact u can buy baby lmb on ebay...

i have 1 bluegill and 1 lmb that are about the same size in the same tank, both aggressive, but they don't bite each other, chase each other around the tank, and compete for food... as long as they are eating, they look happy to me...

so whats wrong with my info...??? just sayings its wrong doesn't make it wrong buddy... u reminded me of treehuggers, tree are alive they have feelings too....lol....

Your information is wrong because one, fish do not grow to the size of their tank. For example, If I put a Pacu in a 55 Gallon Tank. It will get too big for the tank and will not be comfortable in it. And just because a fish eats does not mean it's healthy. For instance, a fish with ich and internal parasites may still eat, but it is not at all happy.

You must take the fish’s mass and habits into consideration. A big fish will create a lot of waste, and a small body of water will quickly deteriorate. Bad water will lead to ammonia burns (flashing) then second infections from open wounds. Eventually, your fish will die. It’s not humanizing, it’s commonsense...
