i catch them, but i know a lfs that has them all the time...they have walleyes, smallies, lmbs, perch, sunfish, northern, tiger muskies...a few others also...
Could you get me a couple walleye and perch? :D

my personal experience is started with grow out tank 40 gal breeder at 3in. quickly out grew it and transfered to a 120 gal and turns out it was a female quite the lunker but sadly she was a tank buster. Don't know what she did but was watching TV one day and she busted the tank...it was messy. No worries she was ok though lost a few scales ripped fins...etc. But tossed her in with the kois outside and she was great until she ate one of the smaller kois so my brothers buddy adopted her with a bigger pond with no small kois. If I find pics I'll post.

alright i have a roughfly 400gal. pond with waterfall out side of my house. i just moved in and it has roughfly 25 koi in it(1"-4") i am salt water aquarist already but i am also an avid fisher and love large mouth bass and have always wanted to have one. i am shure one of you guys will tell me exactly what i need to get started ! and the best technics to keeping a large mouth bass in my 400gal. pond?

i need the complete run down on everything i need to do because i havent a clue about outdoor ponds and large mouth bass info is hard to come by?:nilly:

400 gallons is ok for a male but females when they start pushing 20 plus inches the 400gallon pond will start looking like a small pond. As they do like to roam around and no small kois those will be feeders for the lmb. Their growth rate isn't surprisingly fast as you probably won't be able to keep it full all the time. You will need a bio filter or bio filters depending on how many fish and how much you feed. A mechanical filter as well and a UV light. no pond is safe from algae bloom. Provide cover such as drift wood or rocks but rocks are a pain as they are heavy. Live plants work too like water hycinth just pull them as needed as they grow like weeds. Make sure the return from the filters provides good oxygen especially during hot months. They are a beautiful fish. I rescued mine from a moving neighbor. Once she got to 19 inches I rehomed her to my brothers friend with a bigger pond 8,000 gallon koi pond. I had a her in a 1500 gallon pond. 400 gallon I'd reccomend the pan fish species.

What state do you live in? I'm not calling you a liar, but I have fished Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Hawaii, and ALL of them had size limits for bass. I don't know why it would be ok to keep some that are 4" and under if there is a size limit for anglers, I've never heard of a law like that. Feel free to prove me wrong.

On a side note, I think you are taking this too personally. I was directing this towards people who are giving advice that could get others into trouble. Not only with their aquariums, but also with the law. I don't think me trying to keep people out of trouble is such a bad thing, and I suggested they check THEIR laws, as they can vary greatly from state to state.
