You may not have said it directly but you implied it was alright and seeing as how you did it yourself I'm sure you have no problem telling others to do the same. Not only that but you also carried it to the next level. Rather then letting it go you decide to instigate poly even more and thus myself as well.
Now...what part of discuss this in private is so difficult to understand?
Think about this way: if everyone was allow to take a fish home to keep in their aquarium on top of anglers being allowed to keep their legally-caught fish alongside with all the poachers out there, then there would be no more fish... right?
I went out and caught a under 12" largemouth which is the minimum here in my part of Kentucky out of my fathers pond. It was 10 inches and I caught it for my aquarium. Im not going to set here and tell people they cant go out to the public waterway and get an undersized fish if they want to. Thats for the law to decide. If they keep it and dont get caught, thats cool. Im not going to set here and tell them how horrible they are for doing so. But I dont want to see them come on here crying when they get slapped with a big fine and liscensing priveladges taken away.
But for you guys to set on here and argue this, I mean come on... If he wants to break the law then let him break the law. If he doesnt get caught then fine, if he does then justice will prevail. Id say there are quite a few of us on here that have taken a fish under sized at one time or another whether they will admit to it or not

I am an angler... my lures are too big for an undersized fish to snag.
i've had some undersized fish go for some pretty decent sized lures, but i've never kept or cooked a fish i've caught. not that i have anything against it or i'm for it. each unto there own. just because something is lawful, doesn't mean it's right, and vice versa.
