Love the bumblebees, and thanks. I am glad to see there are such a variety of Oscars! I mostly just see the Tigers and Albinos.

I bred Oscars and raised about a dozen or so and eventually only kept one baby and sold 65 to my LFS for 3 bucks each. I understand you cant personally sex them until its time to breed, but overall my pair is close to 5 years old now and my male is considerably smaller than my female, and another member noted the same thing about his male being smaller in the pair. The female is 13'' and the male is 11 ". I did want to note that when they are in "breeding colors both of their grey faces turn almost pitch black they both tend to darken really dark black and red.
