you might want to stay away form the vieja they tend to be a little more agro.
the Synspilum are porbbaly the least agro but it is going to depend on the fish you get.

plenty of geo's or satanoperca out there that grow to 12"...unfortunately it takes them a few years to get there, hehe.
I have a vieja synspilum with a chocolate and rotkeil severum they are still juvies but get along without too much aggression. Of the 3 the chocolate is the most docile though.Here are some pics:
