Like I said in my pm, the website has some information on keeping worms and worm "farming". Basically a rubbermaid tote, some shredded newspaper and cardboard, moisten it, and feed either earthworm food or organic vegetable and fruit scraps. It shouldn't stink much, but if it does you can keep it in the garage or an unused room. Other than the canadian nightcrawlers, the others need to be kept above about 60F or they will stop eating and basically hibernate, not reproducing. The canadian's need to be refrigerated.
