These are some of the best cichlids I’ve ever kept I loved my red terror female

Amazing festaes! One of my favorites, and while I’ve never had one, I look forward to seeing pictures, especially from Black Tuna Black Tuna , to tide me over while I wait to eventually get a pair!
 
You could get away with red terrors and oscars just not introducing small terrors to a large Oscar

if you started them off together I don’t think there would have been a problem

the oscars I’ve had were quite timid when small and only realised they were big boys when grown

Watch out, festae get even bigger than oscars. A male can be 20 inches.
 
I wouldn’t recommend Festae with Oscar.
Maybe while young, the Oscar will out pace the Festae in growth but not aggression.
As the Festae catches up the Oscar will soon be on the loosing side.
Especially if it’s a male Festae.
