  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm using a wet dry filter for my 135 gallon tank and I did 20% water change weekly.

Be careful with that. I've been known to get to involved and water ends up on the floor.:D

My carpet is constantly dowsed with MFK!

For those who changes at least 50%, what temp do you keep your tank and what temp does your water come out from the tap ?

I had problem with temp changing too drastically before. My tank is set at around 80-82 and my tap water comes out at 60 degrees. after 50% changes, the tank temp drops down to 70 degree and stressed my fish out.

Now, i am running a dosmatic drip system at 50 GPD.

I don't use just cold water from the tap, I adjust the temperature with both hot and cold using a thermometer to match the tank temperature before I fill the tank. The temperature is around 81 F.

I change 50% weekly (I think I'm going to do less now that the bioload isn't there) and the python is connected to the garden faucet. When winter comes along, it takes about an hour for me to do a water change. When I start filling the tank, I do it very slowly so the temperature will not have a dramatic swing.
