I was wondering how long it would take for a 2in Largemouth bass to get to a size for it to eat a creek chub at 3in. I was going to get the LMB in February or March, and i have the creek chub right now. my tank temp is 70-82 and i feed my fish earthworms and bloodworms.

In order for him to try to eat your chub, I'd say he'd have to grow to about 3.5". Bass will try to eat a fish a fish that is the same size as it. As for the time it would take to grow that 1.5 inches, I'd say maybe around 2-3 months, but it depends on how often you feed them.

I feed my fish 4 bloodworm cubes once a day, and some earthworms about 2-3 times a week. I have
3 bluegills (4-6in)
1 black crappie (3-4)
1 warmouth (3in)
1 lake chubsucker (6in)
1 brown bullhead (4in)
1 longear (5.5in)
2 creek chubs (about 3in)

probably needs to be 6'' plus, i left a few 3-4'' creek chub in my tank, and when mine grew to 7-8", they finally ate them.

so if i get a bass, i need to get a 6in bass? the website sells them around 2in and my creek chubs are 3in. the website sells them in February. So is there a problem with keeping this bass with my other fish?

mine went from about two inches to about a foot in slightly over a year. i never had a ton of trouble with keeping other fish with my lmb unless they were new additions to the tank. then it was a 50-50 shot weather it was gonna kill the new fish.for a stock like that, you are looking at at least a 300+ gallon tank in your near future.

Thet have a largemouth for a reason..lol!! I use a9 inch swimbait lure to catch largemouth..they will eat anything
