Second day treating with Maracyn 2. Its acting pretty normal but I still don't notice any improvement on the fins. The random stingy white circles have not been effected. Im going to start treatment with regular Maracyn tomorrow for possible columnaris.
Be patient! Treatment and healing takes time! Columnaris is caused by flavobacterium columnare, a gram- bacteria. Adding Maracyn, which treats only gram+ bacteria, will not help.
