Largemouth Bass now eats from my hand.

Not true!

I have a Largemouth in with my Peacocks. The temp. is around 80 and the Largemouth is bigger than the peacocks. I have had him for 9 months. I got him when he was 1.5" and now he is 10". Even doing great with a slightly acidic pH.
 
I stand corrected. I really didn't think they could do well at those temps.
 
Ya, I'm sure some Largemouth live in worse conditions and still survive and maybe even thrive. Although, mine are florida strains. So that may make a difference. The water probaby get warmer than 80 down there in some spots.

I know what you mean about them trying to take your hand off! I can hold the food over the water and they will come out to grab it!
 
He did that to me yesterday. Came right out of the water.
 
Pretty sweet when the fish learn to trust you like that!

hey I have a largemouth bass too I have him in my 90g tank anyways i wanted to know how often do u feed it? also u had it when it was 1.5" and now he is 10"??? he grew petty fast..
