Larger Peaceful Cichlids?

Are kribensis too small for your taste? I usually see ones at 3" or less, but wikipedia says they get to almost 5. They would work with angels and tetras.

Be careful with the firemouth. They can become very aggressive while breeding

Get a female firemouth, males tend to be more aggressive.

It also makes me ponder...what was I doing 9 years ago? Yeah, at least they are using the search function and reading old threads. There's a lot of good info on this forum.

Discus, or Bolivian rams IMO. The LFS I work at has some BEAUTIFUL Bolivians at about 5". They show more color than I ever knew they could. I guess I just never saw a fully-grown one.

Blood parrots would probably work too...if you're into that kind of thing.

Blood Parrots can be aggressive.
