Largest Jardini I've ever laid my eyes on.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
eats pellets and nothing else... i would've thought it ate lots of live/fresh food seeing how thick the thing is. Then again, it is 10 yrs old...so plenty of time to get to this size. That's a LOT of pellets.

Del, I don't think I've seen a pic of your silver... share? :)

Wow that fish is huge, I still find it hard to believe that there are members here that will argue that you can keep a fish like that in a 4' x 2' x 2' for life:screwy: Do you know what size tank he is normally kept in? Seeing a fish like that makes want to get a Jar, but I just don't want to commit a huge tank to just one fish.

Totally agree with you. Unfortunately, I do not know the size of it's normal tank. It's a very graceful beast haha. Very calm and relaxed all the time. :D

That's a Monster Jardini! But the 65 is fine, they grow to the size of the tank. At least, that's what a customer told me. He said he had a silver that lived ten years and only got to 16"! I am sure that was a healthy fish. NOT

my 10 yr old jardini. in the second pic you can tell the size of it by looking at the side of the tank and the clear area on the bottom. the clear area is the bottom brace for the 180g and there's only 2 braces so roughly it's 2ft.
last pic is of my endlis:)
