I'd say mine are around twelve feet long guaged by my built in yard stick as a measuring device.

Probably more like a foot if a ruler were used!

Huh? At first I thought maybe the first part was a typo and you meant to say "inches" rather than "feet", but then I read the second sentence, and now I'm kinda confused.

Same as dub, my first O was 13" at one year old. I didn't understand enough about water buffering and couldn't cure his HITH so I gave him up. My new Oscar is a year and a half and has just passed the 12" mark.

My oscar is about 13 inches in a 6x2x2 (180 gallon) fed on L.F.S and sometimes frozen blood worms.

Quite a looker, and i guess it's parents were a red and a tiger.

Nice to see the mix between the 2 kinds.
My red and tiger have a different colour of red in them.

i just hope mine grow just as big as yours, but mine aren't adults yet.
My red is 11" at a little under 2 years old.

biggest i personally owned? hmm gotta be about 10 inches ( got the oscar from my aunt ) bur right now the biggest is just about 5.5 and 6 inches

Mine at the momnet is about 8 1/2 inches and got him april 09 but i had him in a 10 gallon for about three month so that is why he might not of grown much but now in a 250 gallon with tinfoils catfish and jaguar cichlid!!!

The big one is 15"++, the lutino is just over 13", and the smaller tiger is 10". The small juvenile motaguense in the bottom of the picture is 4" for reference.

Still have had him less than a year from Tuic he is now 11 inch he is F1 peru his name is Oliver Still think he will have a shot at the title When fully grown!!!! his diet consists mainly of Massivore and tilapia fiilet....He is just cool...He is sharing a 180 right now with 7 peacock bass two Rotkeil severum and a Blood parrot .I have a 675 gal i am purchasing have not decided yet on leaving him in the 180 or giving him Mucho space to expand even further
