Largest pleco?

The bullhead is in my 75g now... and I couldn't even keep a big big pleco with the cat?

The largest is acanthicus adonis which gets longer than a standard 55gallon.

A 55 is 48" long, I thought adonis max size was 40"?

I think he meant turning space too. A 55 would only work as a moving tank

Looks like Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus a to me.

I measured him tonight and he is 10.5 inches long ^_^

(not to be confused with Acanthicus hystrix, which is smaller).

Thanks the new pleco is doing good. I just wish he would eat while I'm around
