Largest pleco?

L numbers is a way to ID plecos that have not been given proper names yet. So keeping track of them is easier. However since given the L number some have gotten names but haven't lost the number.

I'm also interested in any other plecs that get from 15-18 inches long, planetcatfish is how I got those numbers, I didn't look through all of them to see how big they get though

PlanetCatfish is very helpful, I've started a list lol.. knowing what I want will be "easy" but getting the one/s I want will be difficult. I like the royals too, I like L027 Golden Line Royal Pleco but I don't know if I want that one for sure yet.. also I noticed that for the common pleco, they have it getting to 13.8 inches long but in pet stores it says 18inches...??
If yer lookin for somethin that gets 15 to 18 inch size, you should look into a gibbaceps. I got two in my 55 right now, one normal one albino, and they are very brazen about eating, although so are all the others. But the pattern is very vibrant on them and just gets brighter and bolder with age.
I think I'm just going to get one from Petsmart and grow it up in my 55 and when it gets big enough I'll put it with my common
