You have about a year before that tank probably can't hold them comfortably at the rate you are feeding.

my record is a 3" silver into a 24"+ monster in 10 months. they will be in a 180gal as soon as they can't be eatten. once they are larger i will reduce the feeding, but while they are yong they get as much as they can eat as often as they can eat it. i have a higher temp of 86f+- to boost their motablic rate to achive fastest growth possible untill they are in the 10-15" range then they will be brought to the normal tank levels of food and temp. i got exp with these aro types and i can't wait till they are massive!

Looks cool! I hope it works out.

thanx, it has thus far.

after i added the plants my 20gal's ac filter stoped flowing so out of lazyness i just put the angelfish, tsn, spotted rapheal and peacock eel in with the aros. it has had an impact on the aros behavior. i noticed instantly that the aros stopped fighting(what little they were), stopped pushing the less dominant fish to the mid level of the tank and are schooling 100% of the time now!:headbang2 it appears i have FINALLY reached my goal of a group! i think that the large angelfish in with them has calmed them down. that or they are using their primal "oh sh^t there is a tsn on the bottom, must stay on the top and togther." the tsn is only 5-6"+ so the aros are safe from it.

they are so close to being able to go into the main tank! i just don't want to risk them with my gar and larger endli. they are just about the same length as my smallie in the main tank, but obviously not as deep bodied. all i have to say is that it is about damn time i got some fish to get along!!!
