Theyre called florida peacock bass. Mono and ocellaris mix, some have tem in there too.

Yes they are hybrids. I think there may be Orino and some other PB types in the mix. I've raised fries from the same parents and some looks like Monos, Some Ocellaris, some similar to Orinos, and some with two spots, and still some with only 2 bars. Also adult PBs are showing up with a lot of speckling on their body.

Crossed the Quarter century mark

Feels like it's better than saying I caught # 24, # 25, and # 26

Also caught a Europthalmous of monster proportion in the process. Went out to catch some feeders and saw a monster pair of PB with fries in the 3 inch range. Took a break from catching feeders and cast at the pair. The Mayan came out of nowhere and snatched my lure before I could retrieve it across the school of fries. The monster pair disappeared before I could unhook the Euro or Mayan

About 30 minutes later I got to the other side of the lake and caught these 3 PB in the 13 - 14 inch range.

I have a new breeding pair in one of my ICU tanks.
Have to restock the tanks after Jed raided them.

These pair should be a nice catch. The fries are about 4 inches already. Has to be weaned. Each of the pair should at least be 15 inches.

Must be your lucky day. Have a couple of natural pairs and just caught an extra male today so you may have that monster male PB you saw last time and have a full house of kings.

Yesterdays', Today's, and tomorrow's catch. 22 YTD catches less than 17 inches.

First 4 were caught last week, the next two were caught earlier today, and the last two are tomorrow's targets.

Caught These four fish on a deep running Rap Shad Between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM before it got really dark. Fourplay, if you will, or prelude to Summer Fishing in Florida. It's getting hot out here......

First PB is over 17 inch the other is 16.5 inch
