I also exp a goof ball lfs employee yesterday when i did the unthinkable....I paid $$$ for an oscar..... yes thats right i did lol, I saw my new guy and i had to pick him up, good looking albino with really nice black rimmed fins, so nice anyways I asked the lfs guy I said are you sure this is just a straight albino and not a blueberry or whatever they call those dyed oscars and his responce was a blueberry oscar comes like that from nature and they dont dye or tattoo fish, so i took him to those painted tetra's there like see through with the greens and pinks you have to know what im talking about and he again told me that they are born like that,
so I politely asked him to bag my oscar and left shaking my head no sence trying to educate someone that far gone lol,
good luck with your tanks , and fish , and go grab them jags if you have the space , they may not look like much when small but oh boy can they be beautiful when they start to grow out and show there true potential
