every theater that I attend any exit except the main ones are for emergency only. And they have a bar on the door that will emit a sound if pushed. 1. For fire safety, 2 to keep people honest. They are almost always labeled as fire escapes. You're not leaving and getting back in unless you go through the main lobby. Main lobby has 2 exits... front parking lot, rear parking lot.

Honestly it's about building code. Colorado may have a different building codes with theaters then lets say where I'm from in PA. All theaters in PA have at least one alarmed exit. Also emergency exits do not have to be alarmed a lot are just so people will avoid using them as a point of egress. Also another PA thing.
Honestly disgusted. No other words will describe this guy. He should be happy the terrorist's gun jammed and that he isn't sitting 6 ft under right now.
Yup they are usually not emergency exits I've used them a lot. Exit signs do not mean emergency exits at all, just a way out. In no way would there be a requirement for an alarmed door from what I've seen. Alarms are usually used in retail to prevent theft not ppl leaving or entering.
