Leaking tank please help

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Im actually very impressed with this.
Ive been following the thread but havent commented, the fact you have had a leak, drained and stripped the tank and put it all back together is very impressive. A bit of mess with the silicon isnt too much to stress about, you can leave the bottom messy as it will be covered by gravel anyway.

A bit of a learning experience for you and you have done very well I think (as long as it doesnt leak.......)

Thank you I really appreciate it as well as all the other kind words from everyone else. I’ve just now started filling it. It’s maybe 2 inches full right now and so far so good

It's leaking from the bottom. Alas all effort in vain .
It's better you get a new tank , get a 75 g
. Could use this for keeping reptiles (non aquatic ) , insects , maybe hamsters.
I’m going to convince my mom to get me a 75 and see if I can pay for any amount of it but first I’m going to drain it dry it wipe it down with alcohol and do another layer of silicone just on the bottom. Probably going to set this up in my little sisters room and surprise her with a Pac-Man frog or something.
